I am forever grateful to Google and Udacity for the opportunities they have provided, giving me the encouragement and the confidence in my own abilities to be successful in the world of web development.

  Years ago, I started learning development and programming skills through self-study on a need-to-know basis helping friends with tech issues and small projects. A little knowledge, however, was not enough to satisfy my curiosity! I soon found myself enveloped in the library's computer section with programming books scattered around, buying more books, and seeking out online tutorials. Over time, I started taking on paid freelance work and even building full websites with databases and content management systems.

  In 2017, I happened upon an advertisement for a scholarship competition from Google, so I decided to give it a shot. I got in! Not only did I get in, but I also finished in the top 10% of all the scholars nationwide!

I love web development and continue learning every day. I can't wait to see what we can create together!
